Curry Jan. 28, 1914-July 2, 1999 Helen L. Curry, 85, of Seymour died at 8:25 a.m. Friday, July 2, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Seymour. Mrs.

Curry was a receptionist for Contel telephone company in Seymour, retiring in 1979 after 25 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Seymour. She moved to Seymour in 1940. Born Jan. 28, 1914, in Knightstown, she was a daughter of Perry and Iva Fleming Madison.

On Nov. 28, 1934, in Greensboro, she married John "Jack" Curry, who died Aug. 15, 1996. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Dorla Curry, Seymour; a daughter and son-in-law, Jacklyn and Keith Perry, Columbus; five grandchildren, Kevin Curry, Chicago; Kyle Curry, Seymour; Kristin Miller, Lafayette; and Lee Ann Ruf and Bryan Perry, both. of Columbus; seven great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-granddaughter.

The Rev. Neal Partain will conduct graveside services at noon Monday at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Myers Funeral Service, Burkholder Chapel, Seymour. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association.

Robert E. Ward Sept. 11, 1913-July 1, 1999 Robert E. "Bob" Ward, 85, of Seymour died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 1999, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Mr. Ward was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years and also retired from Boeing in Washington. He moved to Jackson County in 1976. Born Sept.

11, 1913, in Terre Haute, he was a son of Edward and Fredrica Greice Ward. On Sept. 1, 1990, in Everett, he married Margaret Jane Ward, and she survives. Other survivors include a sister, D. Mildred Stapleton, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Dorothy E.

Smith; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47 and Vietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Voss and Sons Funeral Service in Seymour.
