Cutting Through the Noise: The Shift from AI Models to Meaningful Applications. The Future of AI Lies in Real-World Applications πSpeaking at the World AI Conference in Shanghai,Baiduco-founder and CEORobin Li Yanhongsaid China has too many large language models (LLMs) and called for tech leaders to focus more on building real-world applications powered byartificial intelligence (AI).βIn 2023, intense competition among over 100 LLMs has emerged in China, resulting in a significant waste of resources, particularly computing power,β Li said during a panel discussion at theWorld Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC)in Shanghai on Thursday.Li called on developers to build more practical applications rather than continuously tweaking the technology that underpins generative AI (GenAI) products like OpenAIβsChatGPT.The funny thing is that last week, Chinese officials were proud to announce that China accounts for 36% of all AI models, second only to the USA.And now, their own IT giant is saying that this large number of models is meaningless. π At DeHealth, we're developing a more practical AI-based mob application -www.dehealth.app. The app, currently in the presale stage, has already garnered significant attention from investors and AI founders due to its substantial value for the B2C audience in the USA and worldwide. This will lead to the widespread adoption of AI with high real consumer value.π But now, I have a question for all VCs (allow your portfolio companies to bring you 100X returns), AI founders and ML engineers: Would you be interested in accessing previously unused health data, ready-to-use SDKs, and securely exchanging data and models via a decentralized protocol? Leave a heart if you're interested. β€οΈ#AI #ML #DeHealth #Innovation #Healthcare #Shanghai #DeHealthApp #RobinLi #OpenAI #WAIC #GenAIhttps://lnkd.in/eet7Fm78

π Cybersecurity and AI: Meetings and Insights from the Nexus 2050 ConferenceJust returned from the Nexus2050 Luxembourg conference, where tech and cybersecurity took center stage. π€Key Takeaways:Cybersecurity Priority:Met Serhii Demediuk, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) of Ukraine. His emphasis on public-private partnerships in cybersecurity was eye-opening. Effective defense needs both sectors working hand-in-hand.I believe we have been on the frontlines of the cyber war. Hackers from other countries try to break into our computer systems to steal information or cause damage. We must stay vigilant and keep improving our defenses against these sophisticated cyber threats. Detection and response have been crucial in protecting systems and data from falling into the wrong hands. It's a never-ending battle, but we're committed to staying ahead of the game.AI in Cybersecurity:AI's role in threat detection and response is evolving. But itβs not just about technologyβwise application is crucial.Hereβs what I understood: AI is now being used in many industries, like improving cybersecurity and analyzing data. It's even being used in eco-friendly products such as organic shoes. But I'm not fully convinced by all the excitement about AI. While I think it can help people in important ways, I don't see many chances to make a lot of money in the next 5-10 years, except maybe in businesses that depend on investments from venture capitalists.Global Impact:With 281M migrants and 900M tourists worldwide, tools like DeHealthβs app for storing medical data securely are more relevant than ever.π Nexus 2050 underscored that cybersecurity isnβt just about protecting dataβitβs about fostering global resilience and innovation. Letβs continue to drive forward with collaborative efforts and cutting-edge tech! π‘Find out more insights in my article specifically for HackerNoon: https://lnkd.in/gqAD72em#Nexus2050 #Cybersecurity #AI #Innovation #PublicPrivatePartnerships #GlobalResilience #TechConference #DeHealth #SuperApp #NSDC

76% of Nvidia employees are likely millionaires. π°This comes from an anonymous survey conducted by Teamblind Inc.36.6% have assets over $20 million24.3% up to $1 million14.4% between $1 million and $3 million8.5% between $5 million and $10 million8.6% between $3 million and $5 million7.8% between $10 million and $20 millionAccording to Teamblind Inc., the average salary at Nvidia ranges from $172,716 to $385,922 per year (including compensation). πΌThe main effect is achieved through company stock options included in additional employee compensation, especially for those who have been with Nvidia for a relatively long time. πAs is well known, Nvidia's stock has been skyrocketing recently. Over the last month, it has risen by 8.46%, over the year by 200.46%, and over the past five years by 2,908.77%. πI really hope that DeHealth will also reach a trillion-dollar+ valuation and that all the employees who are working so hard now will become millionaires. πͺπ΅πThe CEO of Nvidia is my role model in this.#Teamblind #Nvidia #DeHealth #trillion #JensenHuang #Founder

Hello everyone!I recently returned from the Nexus 2050 conference, where I flew in for several important meetings. Nexus 2050 aims to use technology to advance humanity, considering both productivity gains and addressing urgent ethical issues. All the panels and discussions at #Nexus2050 focused on artificial intelligence, sustainable development, cybersecurity, fintech, and the attraction and development of talent.Hereβs what I understood: AI is now everywhere β in cybersecurity, data, and even in shoes made from organic materials. However, I donβt like all the hype. π€ͺI donβt like the buzz in business and believe that AI can serve humanity, but in the next 5-10 years, there wonβt be significant money in it (except for business models based on venture capital, where investors find themselves drawn into long-term, unpromising projects). In the coming years, there wonβt be good business models because users arenβt ready to pay for it β they are ready to pay for solutions to their problems. For example, at DeHealth we also have AI, but we hardly talk about it. For users, itβs a web application (soon to be a mobile app) that allows them to store data in one place, manage their health, and stay ahead of illnesses. Users are willing to pay for such AI.I also love to dream, but for now, itβs a toy for big tech companies. Startups need to build products with real value.I particularly liked the panel where Jolanda van Eijndhoven from @defis_eu spoke at the "Data Governance, Regulation, and Sovereignty" panel at Nexus2050 Luxembourg She discussed the EUβs evolving regulatory landscape, including the #AIAct, Data Governance Act, and Data Act, and their impacts.Luxembourg strives to become one of the beacons of innovation in Europe, and I like that. π
